Summer time is here! The children are out of school, the sun is warm and shining, and more fresh fruits and vegetables are available at the local farmer’s market and grocery stores. June is the month for vacations and more time spent outdoors, but don’t succumb to the fast food joint for a quick bite that will sabotage your diet. This month’s meal plan features recipes that are quick, easy, yet filling and, of course, good for the health of your colon! You’ll also find recipes featuring the fruits and veggies in season this month.

Be sure to eat locally and seasonally to get the most nutritional bang for your buck. Up your fiber intake by indulging in avocados, greens, kale, and berries.
