Karen - Plymouth

I was advised to get my first colonoscopy at the age of 31 since that was 1/2 the age of my father when he was diagnosed.  I’ve had three so far and they’ve all been clear.  My father fought for two years but ultimately lost his battle and died at the age of 65. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him and how maybe his cancer could’ve been prevented.  My children never got the chance to know him and that breaks my heart.  The prep for a colonoscopy is harder than the colonoscopy itself.  It could save your life or a loved ones life.
