Keisha - Soddy Daisy

Well on Aug. 22, 2013 i had my first colonoscopy. Since this being my first one I was anxious. But I realized that if my grandmama had a chance maybe she would got checked out before she had a colostomy bag inserted and unfortunately later succumbed to the disease. So when I turned 35 I felt that I would honor my grandmama’s memory by getting a colonoscopy. I am so glad that I did, I had no polyps think about what would have happened if I had waited maybe I would’ve suffered from the same fate as my grandmama. But now I can be around for my 2 year old son and my husband.  Even through all the anxiety once they finally found a vein and inject me with the Versed and Diprivan I didn’t take anytime to get it done. Word to the wise whenever you have a chance to get screened you need to take it, If my grandmama had a chance maybe she would be around today.
Thank You
Keisha L. Hale,CPh.T
